To meet the demands of a growing and vibrant ministry, Building God’s Way and it’s partner builder in Southern California, Erickson-Hall Construction, came alongside Hemet Valley Baptist Church to develop a long-range master plan for its existing site. The first phase of the master plan, completed in 2013, included the addition of a new 13,250 sf sanctuary to their current campus, along with additional office and classroom space around the perimeter of the worship center.

The new sanctuary building was designed to integrate well with the existing structures on the campus and allow for good traffic flow from the parking lot into the various ministry spaces. The new worship center features seating for up to 417 people and a large stage platform that connects to a baptistry and choir practice room at each end.  The sanctuary also includes a dedicated baby crying room at the rear and a state-of-the-art audio / video system. The large and inviting entry foyer was designed to encourage fellowship before and after the worship services and features an information kiosk and cafe.  The foyer area directs the flow of traffic to the offices on one end of the building, the sanctuary at the center, and the classroom wing at the opposite end of the building.
